Canon 7D digital SLR is suitable for all types of photography in a wide range of targets, both for full-frame sensor or not.

Competition is reduced because only the Pentax K-7 and the Nikon D300 offers the same features. The Q7 is the fastest among them, while the K-7 is the richest in terms of functionality and internal stabilization, automatic correction of the horizon, the resistance to cold tropicalise, and many other features. The D300 is the middle in terms of speed but not in terms of functions. The EOS 7D + also the only one of these for recording video in high definition 1080p.
Canon EOS 7D presents a new series of machines from Canon. It is the latest top model with a position sensor 1.6 multiplication factor in the cost between the model 50D and 5D Mark II full frame. The Canon 7D adds many features not found so far on machines outside the Canon 1D series: 100% coverage viewfinder and waterproof body. It is also the first Canon to have built a level indicator of the slope.
The 7D is based on a 18-megapixel sensor, capable of values between 100 and ISO 12800, 8 fps in continuous shooting mode and recording 1080p HDTV. The whole body is enclosed in a waterproof resistant pentaprism viewfinder with 100% coverage.
