Canon EOS 500D with Full HD Video Capability

The USA name has lost the letter ‘X’. However, not so in Japan, where it will be known as the ‘Kiss X3 Digital”.

Price and Availability

The new Canon EOS 500D (entire body only) will be available in Europe from early Might 2009 at £870 / €1,000. Within the USA, the Canon EOS Rebel T1i (body-only) will have an estimated retail price of US$800.
